Dome needed a fast, reliable product team to transform its stalled MVP into a market-ready platform. Type B deployed a dedicated cross-functional team to take full ownership of the roadmap, rebuild the product experience, and launch web and mobile products that support investor, provider, and admin users.
Dome's initial partner made limited progress despite significant time and financial investments, leaving the platform incomplete, behind schedule and over budget. Key features like investor payouts, provider onboarding, and admin controls were undefined or missing key functionalities. With a crowded roadmap and no live product, Dome risked missing its launch window, getting critical early user feedback and burning through its initial funding round without a product in the market.
We deployed a five-person dedicated team led by a product manager to drive stakeholder alignment and feature prioritization. Our UX designer reimagined the platform’s interface with a minimal, modern aesthetic, while developers rebuilt key flows and integrated third-party tools like Plaid and DocuSign. Daily stand-ups, live demos, and collaborative sprint cycles kept execution tight and outcomes clear. To ensure speed and maintainability, we preserved stable backend logic while refactoring performance-critical code. A phased delivery roadmap enabled us to validate the MVP quickly while planning ahead for investor growth, compliance, and evolving feature sets.
